Natali Ittenberg, a landscape designer, architect, and rainwater harvesting expert dedicated to creating thriving, sustainable landscapes. For three years, I worked with Columbine Landscapes, designing and installing high-desert gardens where my clients can find their own space for joy and rest. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with homeowners across a wide range of properties and unique landscapes. Yet, one common goal consistently stands out—a desire for lush, blooming gardens that require minimal water. With smart plant selection and water management, thriving, resilient landscapes it is absolutely possible to achieve stunning, resilient landscapes that thrive while conserving water. Eva Montane has been working with plants and landscapes for a couple decades and continues to be passionate about sharing what she’s learned about how to nurture nature at home for greater enjoyment, happiness and well being. She served as VP for the local chapter of the Colorado Native Plant Society for 3 years, guided wildflower walks for the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival for 12 years, earned a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2002, Landscape Design Certificate in 2011, Water Harvesting Practitioner Certification in 2019, and has been operating Columbine Landscapes Co since 2015 in Durango where she has resided since 2005. Eva is a garden writer and speaker and loves to highlight simple rain harvesting methods for climate resiliency that can be readily implemented by her audience.
